In the year 1881, God bestowed upon a Florentine craftsman, a lovely son and who would have known then that this young boy named Guccio Gucci would take the world by a storm and will rule the world of fashion even after his death. He then moved to Paris when he was still a young man and then to London where he acquired the position of Maitre d'Hotel at the Savoy where he learned about aesthetics and beauty. In 1920 he moved back to Italy when he was about 39 years old and there he launched his very first shop with only about 30,000 lira. This was the real break he needed and he got it and shocked the whole world with his immaculate sense of style and perfection. He then started selling accessories to horsemen and in the year 1938 opened a boutique in city of Gladiators, Rome.
The famous Gucci product, a bamboo handle bag was introduced in the year 1940 which became all-the rage in the mainstream community making the brand stronger and desirable. He had a large family and his sons Vasco, Aldo, Ugo, and Rodolfo played a major role in strengthening the company’s image and opened new stores in Florence, Rome and Milan. Aldo and Rodolfo also launched a Gucci outlet store in New York in 1953. In that very same year, the life of a legendary designer came to an end and the world lost one of the most prominent fashion designers. Guccio Gucci died in the year 1953 handing the reins of the house of Gucci to his sons who treated his dream as one of their own and left no stone unturned in making the brand one of the most successful brands of this world. The brand expanded and took over the world with Gucci outlets in London, Paris, Milan, New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Korea. By then Gucci had become a household name and had acheived a daunting success worldwide. The famous Gucci logo (GG) was introduced after the second world war and became an instant hit all around the world. In 1960, Gucci entered the all-so-glamorous world of hollywood and and drew a stunningly exquisite and ravishing clientele which demanded nothing but style and grandeur and The house of Gucci was more than enthusiastic to fulfill these demands. The much-publicized names like Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Peter Sellers were among the few regulars of The house of Gucci. Over the years Gucci has become a name of elegance and dignity giving women all over the world something they can call their own.
It gives today’s woman a sense of perfection and such elegance that no other brand has offered. Be it Gucci fabric or Gucci patterns, everything in the house of Gucci exudes an electrifying appeal which is impossible to deny and resist. The brand has developed and matured over the years which can be seen in fashion shows and even in Gucci Ads which show Gucci models adorning exquisite Gucci clothing absolutely mesmerizing their audience. Gucci replicas are also being made all over the world but the market of the brand has expanded so much that copied styles and fake products can be distinguished from the original ones and these do not mar the originality that the real Gucci products offer. From Gucci jerseys to Gucci accessories, everything in the house of Gucci speaks for itself and embodies the hard work and struggle that has made this very brand the quintessence of Fashion.
