Biography:
The acclaimed Italian fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana formed a new fashion house by the name of Dolce and gabbana which gained tremendous popularity among the high fashion world of those we call the glitterati. Domenico Dolce was born near Palermo, Sicily on September 13,1958 and is the son of a sicilian tailor whereas Stefano Gabbana was born in Milan, Italy on November 14th, 1962. Dolce studied fashion design whereas gabbana had studied graphic design. Both of them met in 1980 and worked as free-lance designers. They showed their first collection in 1986 which was an instant success in the international market and achieved tremendous recongnition in he fashion world. They opened their first boutique in 1989 in Japan. They were presented with the woolmark award in 1990. Dolce and Gabbana are extremely famous in the high fashion world of celebrities.
