Types Of Fashion:
The three prevailing forms of fashion are as under:
1. Haute couture: Literally meaning high needle work
2. Ready to wear: These are not made for particular clientele but are presented in the fashion weeks.
3. Mass market: This category targets the general public. Affordable and cheap ready to wear clothes are made for customers. Standard fabric is used to cut the costs down. Many modern designers are using this form of fashion to expand their market.
80’s Fashion Vs. Latest Fashion:
Remember the times when men and women used to dress in pastels and acid wash jeans and when weird hairdos were all the rage? Those were the 80’s when women wore long fitted boot-cut pants and so did men. When singers like Madonna and groups like guns and roses ruled the television screens as well as the fashion industry. That era is back with full force. Today the 80’s fashion scene is back with vengeance. Wild hair and ripped jeans are talk of the town, tattoos are gaining popularity even big shades from brands like ray ban are back in the market and people are going crazy over them. The fashion scene is changing ever so quickly.
Emo Fashion:
Emo is the short form for emotional. Emo fashion basically describes the new type of fashion that has come into picture. It can be called punk or goth fashion. It has been an influence on young minds and various young TV artists and music groups have helped grow this particular form of fashion. Groups like Greenday, My chemical romance and evanescence have made this particular form of fashion quite popular. This form of fashion is not suitable for offices and formal meetings and is opted by the young and juvenile only.
